Weigh In - Week 1

Down .6 pound. Not much, but its something. And considering I wasn't exactly on plan on Friday and Saturday I'm still happy about it. I had my cousin's fabulous wedding on Friday (and brunch on Sunday) and splurged to enjoy the fabulous food and drinks.

I know most of you don't really care about my weight-loss but this is more for me. Its a way to hold myself accountable. I think I am more likely to stay on track if I report my progress.

And .6 of a pound is the equivalent of 2 sticks of butter.


  1. YAY! Loss is better than gain, I say :)
    I weigh in on Saturdays, and this last Saturday and Sunday I ate...a lot. Sooo...needless to say I've been working a little bit harder this week so this upcoming Saturday at weigh-in I don't cry and wish I would have never gone.
    And thanks for putting that .6 pounds in perspective to me...that just made me work even HARDER!

  3. woo hoo! I'm weighing in Mondays and trying to make healthier choices (occasionally at least) ... hopefully we will both be successful!

  4. I like hearing about your success- it reminds me to put the ice cream back in the freezer! And dropping any weight after a wedding and brunch is pretty impressive.
