Weigh In - Week 3

So this week wasn't quite as successful. I'm UP .6 of a pound. I really don't feel like I gained any weight, I sort of feel like its just a fluxuation, or perhaps I really didn't lose that much weight last week. Who knows, but I am trying not to get discouraged. I've been working out a lot (weight lifting 3 days a week and running about 2.5 miles 2 days a week) so I definitely feel like I am in better shape, perhaps just not any thinner.

If I'm not around the next two weeks its because I am trying to be more productive on my case, and I also managed to make lots of plans which leaves me less time around the house and for blogging. But I'll be here... just trying to adjust to working at home!


  1. Remember, when you add muscle you won't lose as much weight. However, the more muscle you have, the higher your metabolism is. Keep up the great work!

  2. Also remember that when you add a different routine (such as weight lifting) your body responds differently than if you are just watching what you are eating...Keep up the good work! Technically it doesn't matter what the "scale" says it matters how you feel and look in clothes! :)

  3. Both Lindsey and Katrina were going to say a little of what I was going to say so I am going to say KEEP ON GOING!! You are doing great... and no matter what, it's really about how you feel. If you keep up this routine you are going to feel like a new person :)
    Good luck with your case and figuring out the whole work at home business... and I hope the dr hubs is doing well!

  4. I have a secret: the WW scale LIES! haha just kidding...kind of. I went to the doctor the other night and their scale read 3 lbs LESS than what I've been getting at ww...hmmmm wonder who's right/wrong? But in all seriousness, you are doing all the right things, so you'll get the scale results soon enough! Your body will thank you before the scale does :)
    Keep on doing a great job! I'm missing weigh-in this weekend so I'm scared to miss a week, but we'll see how things are next weekend!

  5. Sounds to me like you are gaining muscle...keep it up, the results will be obvious before you know it. Plus- being in better shape is an accomplishment on it's own.

  6. I've missed your update this week! We started about the same time, and I'm only down a pound despite valiant exercising efforts. :p I need some encouragement!
